Connected Devices – More Options

Click on a connected device to see more options. The detail view of the selected device opens. It is the same for all devices and is described in detail under General, Display and Data Log.

Device Overview:

1. Zone and Room:
   • This shows the zone and room where the device is located. In this case, the device is placed in the area WHG 1 (ground floor right) in the balcony room.
2. Platform, Category, and Type:
   • The platform is Wiser, the category is Lighting, and the type is Light.
3. Manufacturer and Model:
   • Manufacturer: Feller
   • Model: Wiser
4. Connection and Status:
   • This shows the connection quality (here 44%) and the current status of the device (OK).
5. Compatibility and Certification:
   • Compatibility: 100%
   • Certified by nomos system.

Settings:

1. Include in room commands:
   • Sets whether the device follows when the whole room is switched in the nomos app (e.g. all lights off). In the configuration interface the option is called Include in room commands; it does not affect scenes or automations.
2. App Display:
   • The device can be shown in apps or kept hidden, depending on your needs.
3. Voice Control:
   • Enable whether the device can be used with voice assistants (e.g., Google Assistant, Alexa, or Siri).
4. HAP Enabled:
   • Determines whether the device is passed on to Apple Home via the HomeKit Accessory Protocol (HAP). HAP is legacy; Matter is recommended.

Connection:

1. Scenes:
   • This shows the connected scenes, such as a scene that turns off all lights ("All Off").

Screensaver:

1. Link Quality:
   • Determines whether this value appears in the app screensaver.

More Options:

1. Values & Options:
   • This button allows you to set advanced settings such as the brightness of the lamp or other functions (depending on the device type).
2. Data Log:
   • You can access a data log here that provides useful information about the connection and activity of the device.
3. Delete Device:
   • If you want to remove the device from the system, you can do this through the delete device option.

Device Configuration

Wiser devices have their own configuration page. You open it with the gear icon Configuration on the device card in the Wiser dashboard or below the device name on the device page. The bar at the top shows the device name and contains Cancel and Save.

nomos reads the settings directly from the Wiser gateway and writes them back there. For devices with several channels, you see the settings of the channel the nomos device belongs to. Which settings appear depends on the device; if it has none, the page shows "No settings available."

Button LEDs:

• LED Color – colour of the LEDs on the push-button, as a hex value (e.g. #0000FF) or via the colour picker.
• LED Brightness (Active) and LED Brightness (Inactive) – brightness of the LEDs in percent in the active or inactive state. Devices whose LEDs show the heating or cooling state only have LED Brightness (Active).

Outputs:

• Minuterie – With Enabled, the output switches off by itself after the time entered (in ms).
• Switch on brightness – brightness in percent at which the light switches on. With Last value, it switches on at the brightness last set instead.
• Circuit – operating mode of the dimmer to match the connected load: Capacitive load (RC) or Inductive load (RL).
• Brightness limits – lowest (min) and highest (max) brightness of the dimmer in percent.
• Dimming speed – dimming curve Linear or Logarithmic. The field below sets the time (in ms) for dimming with the push-button.
• Soft Start – time (in ms) over which the light fades up or down when switched on or off.
• Scene Fade – fade time (in ms) when a scene is recalled.
• Relay Mode – switches the relay mode of the output on or off.
• Tilt Time – for blinds, the duration (in ms) of one step when adjusting the slats.

Save sends the values to the Wiser gateway and then reloads them. If the configuration on the gateway has changed in the meantime, nomos reports "Configuration had to be reloaded." Then check the values and save again.
