Remote Access

The remote access feature in the nomos system allows you to access your controller from anywhere using the nomos app. This provides an easy way to monitor and control your smart home even when you are away.

Activating Remote Access

You can turn remote access on or off through the user interface of the nomos controller. This is especially convenient when you are on the go but still want to have control over your devices and automations.

Important Note

Only switch on remote access with the explicit consent of your customer; the controller does not ask for this consent itself. Its use is subject to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy linked on the page.

If the guest user is active when you switch it on, the page asks Disable the guest user?. Disable switches it off (recommended), Keep enabled leaves it active; remote access is switched on in both cases.

Sign out devices

If needed, you can sign out all devices that access the controller remotely in the "Sign out devices" section, using the "Reset all Clients" button. After the prompt "Sign out all devices?", all devices lose their remote access and must be reconnected on the local network. This can be useful if you want to reorganize control over access to your systems.
