Cloud
With the Cloud you link the nomos system Controller to your nomos cloud account in order to use voice assistants such as Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
If the cloud is switched off, switch it on at the top with On.
Connecting a Cloud Account
To use cloud services like Amazon Alexa and Google Home, link your nomos system Controller to a cloud account:
- Username: Enter your cloud username.
- Password: Enter your corresponding password.
- Sign in: Click Sign in to establish the connection. If you don’t have an account yet, create one with Sign up for free.
Once linked, the Account section shows the status and the email address of the account. Manage linked nomos Controller opens the management of the linked controllers in the nomos cloud; Unlink this nomos Controller removes the link again after a confirmation.
Cloud Services
At the bottom of the page, the supported cloud services are shown:
- Amazon Alexa: Use voice control to activate scenes and switch devices. Download the official Amazon Alexa app and enable the "nomos" skill there.
- Google Home: You can also use voice control with Google Home. Download the Google Home app and link the "nomos" service there.
Settings
- Cloud Synchronization: Enables synchronization of multiple remote controllers under the same cloud account. Apply the setting with Save.
