free@home
With the free@home skill you connect a Busch-Jäger System Access Point (SysAP) to the nomos system Controller and control the devices of the free@home installation through it.
Setup steps:
- Adding a System Access Point:
- Click on Add System Access Point. nomos searches the network for System Access Points. Select the one found and click Next.
- Signing in:
- The SysAP needs at least version 2.6.0.
- Enter Username and Password. The username is not the account name: the System Access Point assigns each user account a generic username. You find it in the free@home next app under More → free@home Settings → Local API.
- Check the credentials with Test and finish with Done.
- Adding devices:
- On the connected System Access Point, take over the devices with Add Device. Virtual Devices manages the virtual devices of the SysAP.
- Ensuring the Connection:
- Make sure that the System Access Point is properly connected to the network and that the nomos system Controller is working in the same network.
WARNING
Additional Notes:
- If the connection cannot be established after several attempts, restart the System Access Point and/or the nomos system Controller to fix any network issues.
- Make sure that the devices have the latest updates installed to avoid compatibility problems.
