# 5. Setup

In this step, the user can choose the type of setup.

* **Screen Display:** Three options are available:
  * Setup as a new nomos system Controller
  * Restore from backup file
  * Migrate from another system via local network
* **Step:** Choose the option that fits your situation. For a new installation, select "Setup as a new nomos system Controller."
* **Next Step:** Click "Next" to continue with the configuration.
