Android: widgets and shortcuts
Scenes, devices and rooms as widgets, and favorite scenes on the Android home screen.
Widgets
Touch and hold an empty spot on the home screen, tap Widgets and look for "nomos system". You can choose from:

Drag a widget onto the home screen. If you have several Controllers, choose the Controller next; for Devices of a room also the room, and for Rooms of a zone the zone. To resize a widget, touch and hold it and drag its edges; larger widgets show more columns, and you can scroll inside them.
Tap a scene and it runs right away, without opening the app: a check mark confirms it, an ✗ and a short message tell you the Controller could not be reached. Tap a device, room or zone and the app opens right there. Tapping the header opens the app at the widget's Controller. If you chose an Accent Color in the app, the header appears in that color.
If a widget shows Open nomos to set up this widget., open the app once so it can provide its data. With Tap to set up this widget. tap the widget and choose the Controller, room or zone. Controller no longer available. Tap to choose again. means the Controller (or the chosen room or zone) was removed: tap the widget and choose again. From Android 12 you can also change the choice by touching and holding the widget and tapping the pencil icon.
Garage doors
The Garage Doors widget shows each door with its state (Open, Closed) and the buttons Open and Close. So that no door moves by accident, a dialog asks first: Open garage door? or Close garage door? with Cancel and Open or Close. Only after you confirm does the door move; the widget then shows Opening … or Closing … and, after about 45 seconds, the state the Controller reports again. Otherwise the state refreshes every 30 minutes and when you open the app, so it can be outdated; that is why there are fixed buttons instead of a toggle.
Shortcuts
Long-press the app icon: up to four of your favorite scenes appear. Drag one of them onto the home screen to start it with a single tap from then on.
When you mark a scene as a favorite, the app offers to place it on the home screen right away.
