Signing in
With a password, as a guest, with a QR code or with approval by an administrator.
With username and password
Enter your Username and Password and tap Sign in. The eye icon shows the password in plain text. The app remembers your username for next time.
Possible messages:
| Message | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Invalid username or password | The username or password is wrong. Pay attention to upper and lower case. |
| Your account is disabled | Your account is blocked. Contact your integrator or an admin. |
| Too many attempts… | After several failed attempts, the Controller waits a moment. Try again after the time shown. |
As a guest
If your integrator has turned on guest access, Sign in as Guest appears. This lets visitors, for example, operate lights and scenes without an account of their own.
With a QR code
On a wall panel or in the browser you do not need to type a password if you have your smartphone at hand:
Show the QR code
On the wall panel or in the browser, tap Log in with QR code. A QR code and a short Code appear.
Approve with the app
On your smartphone, open the nomos system app and go to Settings → Approve sign-in. Scan the QR code.
Compare the code
The app shows the Code on the device. If it matches the code on the wall panel, tap Approve. The wall panel is now signed in with your account.
INFO
Signing in with a QR code only works in your home network, not via remote access.
Forgot password?
An admin in your household can approve you without knowing your password:
- Tap Forgot password?, enter your username and tap Request access.
- The app shows Tell an administrator this code: with a code below it. Tell the admin this code.
- The admin opens Settings → Incoming requests in their app, compares the code and approves you, see Incoming requests.
- As soon as they have approved you, you are signed in. The app then recommends that you set a new password: Change password.
If the admin declines, Your request was declined. appears. If it takes too long, Request expired appears. Request again starts over.
INFO
This approval, too, only works in your home network. If nobody in your household has admin rights, your integrator can help you.
