Managing devices

Renaming devices, assigning them to a room and removing them.

Under Settings → Configuration → Devices you see all the devices on your Controller. Search helps you find a device quickly.

Tap a device to open its configuration. There you can change, for example:

• the Name and the icon,
• the Room,
• whether the device is shown in the app,
• on the Display tab: which values the app shows and whether the device is visible to voice assistants and Matter, see Hiding a device from voice assistants and Matter.

WARNING

Only remove a device if you are sure. Scenes, schedules and automations that use it will then no longer work as usual.
