Incoming requests

Approving sign-ins without a password.

If someone in your household has forgotten their password and chosen Request access, the request appears under Settings → Incoming requests. Each request shows the name, the username, the requesting device and a code.

1. Ask the person to tell you the code they see on their device.
2. If it matches, tap Approve. The person is signed in immediately.
3. If you do not recognize the request or the code does not match, tap Decline.

WARNING

Only approve requests whose code you have compared yourself. Whoever is approved then has all the rights of that account.

After the approval, the app recommends that the person set a new password. Incoming requests are only available to admins and only in the app.
